The Weight of Glory

C.S. Lewis is a master at explaining the spiritual world by relating them to our physical. Like the Tozer book, I had to put it down several times in order to ponder his messages and how they relate to our daily lives. He is an intellect for the masses, an academic for the unschooled. If unraveling the mysteries of God were in a Star Wars movie, he'd be Yoda. The Weight of Glory is heavy reading, but a Spiritual uplifting for the soul. It is His Glory that we carry upon us as a burden into sin, but it's His Glory that carries us like to repentance like a wave carries a boat, the current carries a stick, a Father carries a child.
